ABOUT THE PRACTICE
Deeba Ashraf, MDPsychiatrist/Psychoanalyst
With 20+ years of experience, Dr. Ashraf is a graduate of studies in Adult Psychoanalysis, and board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, and Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry. She utilizes psychotherapy from a variety of modalities, including psychoanalytic thinking.
She is a Houston native and trained at the McGovern Medical School and Emory School of Medicine. She has worked in the Houston hospitals such as Harris County Psychiatric Center, Memorial Hermann Children's, and Menninger Clinic and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine.
Her practice is accepting new patients.
Tania Ramos
Practice Manager
Tania is from Mexico City and holds a degree in Graphic Design. She has extensive experience in teaching at the high school level and knowledge of administrative tools that will be very helpful in practice. She is available to answer questions and provide support to patients.
Her relationship with teaching has sparked an interest in mental health. Additionally, she is an animal lover, enjoys swimming, and values spending quality time with her family.
SERVICES
The practice offers psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and medication management. We are happy to collaborate with your current mental health providers. Also, you may be referred to Dr. Ashraf by another provider for a second opinion.
Dr. Ashraf offers sessions in person and via telehealth for residents of Texas. She works with ages 4 and up. She prefers meeting initially in the office with new adult patients and prefers seeing all children/adolescent sessions in person.
LOCATION
The office is located close to Hwy 59 and Greenbriar Drive at 2211 Norfolk STE 615.
Free 2-hour visitor parking is available on the first floor of the parking garage.
Walk past the parking elevators into the building to find the main elevators.
